The Malt Shovel at Barston is a delightful village pub set in picturesque Warwickshire countryside close to the N.E.C. and Solihull. Our busy bar has a lively atmosphere for both drinking and dining with real fires in the winter and a summer patio overlooking the beautiful garden.
Our separate restaurant is both relaxed and inviting, situated in a converted barn decorated with natural wood and pastels, perfect for small informal parties and receptions.


Dining
Our food, prepared by our head chef and his team, is cooked with care and presented with flair using fresh seasonal ingredients. He is constantly surprising us with his modern take on traditional dishes and is especially well known for his daily fish specials board.
Being privately owned we are passionate about what we do and have built an excellent reputation, both locally and with visitors, for innovation and consistency.
